Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring and teaching, with a particular focus on working with children.

The applicant will be educated to degree level and preferably hold QTS. Tuition will be to min GCSE level and hopefully A level.

This role is designed for individuals who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. Experience in special education is highly desirable, as we aim to cater to diverse learning needs.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address specific learning objectives. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Collaborate with other educational professionals to support the holistic development of each student.

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children of various age groups. Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage with students and parents. A patient and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of learners. A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
