Self Employed Maths/English Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated self employed Maths and English Tutor to teach a young girl at GCSE level online via Teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and will be familiar with the online space they will be committed to supporting the student. You will able to design creative lesson plans to suit the needs of the learner adapting where necessary.

Duties

Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. Utilize learning technology to support student engagement and understanding. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other educators regarding progress and areas for improvement. Assist in curriculum development to ensure alignment with educational standards. Foster a positive relationship with students to promote confidence and motivation in their learning journey.

Skills

Strong experience in tutoring and teaching for post 16 Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning. Familiarity with learning technologies that enhance educational delivery. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and families. Experience working with children, including those with special education needs Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student learning styles..
