The MAI (merchant acquisition and incubation) team's primary objective is to mass attract and onboard sellers and incubate them to certain levels through scaling means.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and strategic Seller Education Manager to design and drive impactful education initiatives that empower sellers to grow and succeed on our platform. This role focuses on understanding the seller lifecycle identifying key segments, needs, and growth opportunities and creating targeted education programs that deliver measurable impact.
As the Seller Education Manager, you will develop and execute scalable learning strategies and initiatives tailored to different seller stages and potential tracks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, content, community, and product to ensure that every seller receives the right knowledge, tools, and motivation to maximize their performance and long-term success.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, learning, and seller enablement combining data-driven insights with creativity to shape the educational journey for thousands of sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the seller education strategy, mapping out the end-to-end learning journey based on seller lifecycle stages and potential growth tracks.
- Identify seller segments, pain points, and learning needs using data, insights, and feedback from the ecosystem.
- Design and implement education initiatives and scalable programs (e.g., learning paths, workshops, certifications, self-serve content) to drive seller capability and growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content, operations, community, and product teams to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative metrics, continuously optimizing for engagement and impact.
- Apply creative problem-solving to address seller blockers and design innovative education approaches that drive real behavioral change.
- Build and manage partnerships with internal or external learning partners to enhance content quality and reach.
- Support go-to-market initiatives by embedding education components that drive adoption of key tools, features, and programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments, with deep understanding of seller operations, growth levers, and business dynamics.
- Proven ability to design, execute, and scale education or enablement programs that drive measurable impact.
- Strong data-driven mindset, advanced Excel, able to interpret insights and translate them into actionable learning strategies.
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome seller challenges and unlock growth opportunities.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities; basic design skills (e.g., visual presentations or learning materials) are a plus.
