We're working with a
welcoming primary school in the heart of Greenwich
that is seeking a
dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
to join their
Additional Resource Provision (ARP)
. You'll work alongside an excellent experienced teacher already in post, supporting pupils who may face emotional or behavioural challenges as they settle into a new educational setting.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role for someone who's patient, resilient, and ready to help children build confidence, independence, and self-belief.

Your Role
Provide
1:1 and small-group support
for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
Help children develop
emotional regulation, communication skills, and confidence
through structured and creative activities.
Support classroom learning and create calm, positive environments that encourage progress.
Build trusting relationships that help children feel safe, understood, and valued.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to track and celebrate progress.
What We're Looking For
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grades 4-9).
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behaviour, or additional needs.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a lasting difference.
