Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in classroom activities and routines
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on SEMH needs and behavior management strategies
Help develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, numeracy skills, and social skills development
Foster a safe and supportive environment by applying positive behavior management techniques
Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum materials for students with autism, disabilities, or special educational needs
Support classroom management by maintaining structure, consistency, and clear communication with students
Engage in ongoing training related to childhood development, Montessori methods, or early childhood education to enhance teaching practices
Contribute to the development of curriculum activities that promote inclusive learning and support working with children of various ages including toddlers and preschoolers
Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments
Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development for early childhood education
Familiarity with working with children with autism or disabilities and implementing tailored support strategies
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Experience in lesson planning that integrates literacy education, math concepts, and social-emotional learning
Understanding of childhood development principles across different age groups such as toddlers and preschoolers
Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an inclusive atmosphere
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or special education are preferred but not mandatory
