We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose faults and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime Replace worn or defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and standards Collaborate with team members to optimise maintenance schedules and procedures Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably within a similar industry setting Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are desirable Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet operational demands
