Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks in a dynamic environment. This role is essential for supporting our operations and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of work sites, ensuring they are clean and organised. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment. Report any issues or hazards to management promptly. Working pattern will include day and night time working. Working in Rail and Public Sector environments. Carry out relevant work that include civil works, strip out works,

Qualifications

Previous experience in a semi skilled role or similar position is preferred Ability to work well in a team as well as independently when required. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is beneficial. Experience working in a Rail environment will be advantageous.
