Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and semi skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a physically demanding environment. As a semi Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will be working with a team of 2 -4 men , working within industrial electrics and civil piping.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and clean-up of job sites, ensuring safety and organisation at all times. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Full UK driving license would be an advantage CSCS Card would be an advantage working to standards of NY Water - pumping stations lifting and cleaning of Pumps. Covering a list of remedials to complete a sites work

Skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding tasks throughout the day. Basic knowledge of construction techniques or experience in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when required. Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors clearly. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 15.00-16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
