Semi Skilled Machinist (thread Rolling)

Job Description
Work as part of the team within the Machine Shop using appropriate manual machines to produce components to specification and / or client requirements, in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and Company policy.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Strong mechanical aptitude.
The ability to work on manual lathes, saws, drills, grinders, milling machines, linishing, hand tools and measuring equipment as required.
Good communication and organisation skills.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and with attention to detail.
The ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
Available to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
Strong experience using measurement/inspection equipment including Vernier's, Micrometer's etc.
Maintains work areas in a safe, clean and orderly manner including conformance with ISO9001 standards
Any other work of a similar level allocated by the Supervisor but not fully outlined within this job description.
Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Have good English language skills
Driving Licence advantageous
Rates negotiable based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
