A progressive, forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking for a motivated Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant. You will work closely with clients, deliver accurate and insightful financial information, and support the development of junior colleagues. Role Responsibilities
Work under the guidance of the Audit & Accounts Manager to provide a range of accountancy services.
Prepare management accounts for a variety of businesses.
Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies across multiple sectors.
Complete VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
Draft corporation tax and personal tax returns.
Use cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks and Xero (training provided if required).
Respond to client queries professionally and clearly.
Assist in training and supporting trainee team members.
Personal Requirements
AAT qualified with relevant accountancy practice experience.
Currently studying towards, or planning to pursue, ACCA or ACA qualifications.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Confident communicator able to build positive client relationships.
Motivated to continue learning and developing professionally.
