Job description - the role

Due to exciting growth opportunities, our client is looking to fill Semi -Skilled Operator positions across their Derby facility on initial 12-month contacts. We are seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals to integrate into our existing teams across a variety of processes; machining, inspecting, chemical processing, blasting or polishing.



We welcome applications from individuals with transferrable skills. Certain roles will require a high level of dexterity and/or frequent physical activity, including lifting.

As a Semi-Skilled Operator you will be responsible for:

Utilizing process experience within the aerospace industry - advantageous but not essential. Following technical instructions and records with attention to detail while demonstrating basic computer literacy for documentation and process tracking. Adapting to business needs by being flexible and responsive to changing operational demands. Working across a 2 or 3 shift pattern as required to support production schedules and operational continuity. Complying with all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures, ensuring a safe workplace for themselves and their colleagues.

What we require from the candidate:

We are seeking candidates with a background in machining, inspecting, chemical processing, blasting or polishing. Ideal applicants will have hands-on experience in precision engineering, manufacturing, or related industries where attention to detail and quality control are essential.
