Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated SEN English and Maths Tutor to join our team and provide educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be passionate about helping students succeed.
Duties
-Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions
-Develop individualised learning plans based on students' individual needs
- Assist students in understanding subject-specific content
- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress
- Utilise various teaching methods to engage students
- Support students with special education needs
Requirements
Experience working within alternative provision setting (this is not compulsory) Experience working with children Experience working with SEND - a high number of young people here have Autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties Proficiency in tutoring and educating students Strong communication skills Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous Able to deliver level 1-2 functional skills in English and Mathematics, Able to deliver from level 1-2 Functional skill up to GSCE level in English and Mathematics An interest in Art and creative pathways is preferred

- Pay: 35.00-40.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 6 - 30 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends
