Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals and will possess the ability to communicate effectively with children of various ages. This role involves providing tailored educational support, fostering a positive learning environment, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement personalised lesson plans based on each student's learning objectives and requirements. Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in English and maths. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to enhance understanding and retention of material. Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that motivate students to participate actively in their education. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to provide updates on progress and address any concerns. Maintain a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and self-esteem in learners. Stay informed about current educational practices and methodologies, particularly in special education if applicable.

Skills

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner. Experience working with children in an educational setting, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous for supporting diverse learning needs. Proven tutoring experience or a background in education is preferred. A genuine passion for educating others and fostering a love for learning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00 per hour
