A delightful small Infant school in Horsham is seeking a dedicated

1:1 Learning Support Assistant

to support a Reception-aged boy with

complex needs

, primarily linked to

autism and behaviour

. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a child who thrives with consistency, warmth, and structured support.


The Role



Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day Help the child access learning in a way that suits his individual needs Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals Use strategies to support emotional regulation, communication, and engagement Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

About You



Previous experience supporting children with autism and behavioural needs (essential) Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach Able to build trust and rapport with young children Confident using visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines Team player with a proactive attitude
