Responsibilities

:
- Primarily to support a child as they grow and develop through their pre-school year

-Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

Skills

:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and materials
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of children
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a preschool setting

Must have Level 3 in Childcare
