Responsibilities Of The Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, your duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing 1:1 support to SEN students in the classroom.
• Collaborating with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to implement SEN provisions.
• Fostering the social and emotional development of students based on their individual needs.
• Working alongside teachers to monitor students\' progress.
• Assisting students requiring physical care.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 1, 2, or 3).
• A solid understanding of supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs.
• A strong desire and motivation to embrace the challenge of working with children with SEN.
• The ability to remain patient and composed in demanding environments.

Requirements to work with GSL Education as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Minimum of 6 months\' experience in an educational setting or the healthcare sector.
• A DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
• A minimum of two years\' work experience in the UK.
