dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher Assistant
to join our supportive team, working with children withSpecial Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
, particularly those on theAutism Spectrum (ASD)
.The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children with additional needs and able to provide targeted, compassionate, and consistent support in the classroom.
Essential Requirements
(Please do not apply unless you meet ALL of the following):? Hold a
current Enhanced DBS certificate
(preferably registered on theUpdate Service
) ? Have thelegal right to work in the UK
(Right to Work) ?Updated and professional CV
? At least1 year of experience working in UK schools
in a similar role ? Experience supporting children withAutism and/or complex SEND needs
? Strong understanding ofpositive behaviour management strategies
for children with additional needs ? Able to provideprofessional references
(from previous school/educational roles)Desirable Qualities
:Calm, patient and empathetic nature Confident in supporting children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups Ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and SENDCOs A proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to helping students reach their full potential
