Are you looking for a rewarding SEN Teaching Assistant role in Coventry?
Together in Learning is recruiting an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming SEN Primary School from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children aged 8-11 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

You will be joining a supportive team committed to helping every child reach their full potential. This position is ideal for someone with previous experience in special educational needs who is confident supporting children with complex medical and personal care needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

Support pupils with PMLD in small groups and on a one-to-one basis Provide personal care support, including toileting and feeding, in a respectful manner Assist with medical needs under the guidance of trained staff Adapt learning activities and resources for individual needs Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

Requirements:

Experience working with children or adults with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs Comfortable providing personal care and medical support (training provided if needed) Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Relevant SEN training or qualifications desirable but not essential
