Justteachers is working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in
Bradford
, seeking adedicated Teaching Assistant
to support pupils withSpecial Educational Needs (SEN)
. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional support to thrive in their learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs). Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support learning and development. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents where appropriate. Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
orrelevant experience
supporting children with SEN. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 90.00-115.00 per day
Education:
A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
