This role will give you access a wide range of fully funded training and qualification opportunities in SEN education whilst also gaining a breadth of experience with children of varying ages and abilities!

Salary:
23,000
per annum (12.72 per hour) plus regular salary progression based on completion of training. 1000 joining bonus
Hours:
36.75 hours per week -
Full time:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
08:45am - 04:45pm,
Tuesday
08:45am - 05:30pm and
Friday
08:45am - 04:30pm -
Part Time working is also considered - 3 or 4 days (Minimum of Tues, Thurs and Friday)
Holiday:
56 days school holiday + Bank holidays
How will you contribute to the team?
Provide teaching and support to our pupils, following individualised curriculums Plan
Prepare and deliver lessons and activities, focusing largely on communication skills and life skills
Support pupils' participation in trips, applying theory-based learning to practice
Provide behaviourally based support to replace and reduce behaviours that impact quality of life
Provide personal care, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene (toileting, feeding)
Monitor pupil progress, ensuring teaching is appropriate and effective for each child's needs
Assist with breaktime duties including playground support and snack time

Access to a wide range of Education & Childcare courses including RQF CACHE Level 2, 3 & 4 in Early Years, Learning Difficulties and Teaching & Learning
Behaviour analysis specific qualifications including Teaching Ranks, Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), Board Certified Behaviour Analysis certification (BCBA), UK Society for Behaviour Analysis certification (UKBA(cert))
Masters in High Incidence & Disabilities worth up to 13,000
Additionally, all staff will also receive regular training in Safeguarding, Emergency Medication, Behaviour Management, Personal Care, Autism and more
What will you need to apply?
Professional, personal or voluntary experience of working with children and disabilities
Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language & Maths or equivalent
Comfortable working with children who exhibit behaviour that challenges
Comfortable supporting others with personal/intimate care where required
Ability to keep calm in high pressure situations
