We are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant, who ideally has experience of working with children with special educational needs. You will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff, undertaking work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the Teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working to support children with an Education Health and Care Plan. You will play an essential role in ensuring that the provisions and strategies needed to help these children achieve key life outcomes are implemented.
In return you will work in a warm and welcoming school community, with dedicated staff and enthusiastic well-behaved children.
