SEN Teaching Assistant

Kidderminster
We are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in several welcoming & supportive primary schools, in the Kidderminster area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is confident supporting pupils at different stages of their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
Support class teachers in delivering lessons across multiple year groups Assist with the planning and delivery of activities that align with the national curriculum Provide one-to-one and group support to ensure all pupils can access learning Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom Help with classroom preparation, assessment, and pupil progress tracking
Required Experience
A passion for helping children learn and grow in a supportive environment Strong communication skills and a flexible, team-oriented approach Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (desirable) A sound understanding of the national curriculum (desirable)
Required Qualifications (Mandatory pre-employment training provided by SCCU)
L2 Award in Support Work in Schools L2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability
Eligibility criteria
You must be 19+ Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years Not currently in education Currently unemployed or in receipt of low wage (Under 25,750)
