Are you a patient, adaptable and caring individual with experience supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Newark is seeking a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to pupils from September.

About the Role:

In this full-time position, you'll work closely with pupils requiring additional help to access learning and manage the school day. This may include supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language delays or social and emotional needs. The role will involve both one-to-one and small group support, with a focus on inclusion, progress and pastoral care.

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver structured and responsive support tailored to each pupil's needs Assist with implementing EHCPs and behaviour support strategies Help pupils stay engaged, focused and settled in the classroom Support classroom routines and transitions throughout the school day Liaise with teachers, the SENCO and parents to ensure consistent support

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary school setting A calm, confident and nurturing approach to behaviour and emotional support Good communication and teamwork skills An understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential

Pay: 85.00-120.00 per day

Expected hours: No more than 32.5 per week
