We are working with a specialist school that provides a nurturing and stimulating setting for pupils aged 2 to 19 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). The Role

As a Support Staff Member, you will play a key role in fostering a positive learning experience. Under the guidance of the class teacher and senior leadership team, you will:

- Provide practical and emotional support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum.

- Assist in developing communication and social skills, encouraging independence.

- Support personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and dressing, ensuring dignity and comfort.

Who We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

A positive and adaptable attitude, ready to embrace new challenges.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.

A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or health and social care, or equivalent experience.

An enhanced Child and Adult DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
