About the Role:



As a Teacher Assistant, you will:

Support students academically, socially, and emotionally to help them thrive in a tailored, individualised curriculum. Create a nurturing, inclusive environment that embraces every child's strengths and needs. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support the whole child. Encourage independence and confidence through structured routines and enrichment-based learning.

What We're Looking For:



Required Qualifications & Experience:



Experience in education or a similar support-based role. Background working with

Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

or

SEN

. A valid

driving licence

.

Desirable Experience & Skills:



Background in providing

emotional and behavioural support

, including working with children with complex needs. Experience using

virtual learning environments

.

Core Competencies:



Strong organisational and administrative skills. Ability to manage behaviour positively and support student wellbeing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Confident working across

Primary and/or Secondary

age ranges. A solution-focused mindset, with the ability to respond quickly to student needs.

Knowledge & Commitment:



Understanding of

equality, safeguarding, child protection

, and inclusion within SEN environments. Experience collaborating with families and wider community organisations. High expectations for student progress and behaviour, with a nurturing and respectful approach.
