SEN Teaching Assistant - Sheffield

Right Education is registering full-time SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible, ongoing work across Sheffield. If you're calm under pressure, passionate about inclusive education, and experienced with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.

We are supporting a number of special schools and mainstream primary settings, where 1:1 and small group support is often required. These roles involve helping pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD.

This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to take on consistent, rewarding work across term time.

Your Role

Support children with special educational needs in class, 1:1, or in small groups Implement strategies from EHCPs and support plans Promote confidence, independence, and emotional regulation Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and therapists as needed

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting pupils with SEN (in education, care, or youth work) A calm, patient and supportive approach to behaviour and learning Confidence to follow safeguarding, behaviour and communication plans Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday during term time

Pay:

13.69 - 14.61 per hour (based on experience and setting) Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Location: Sheffield and surrounding areas
