SEN Teaching Assistant - Rotherham

Are you experienced in supporting children with additional needs? Right Education is welcoming SEN Teaching Assistants to join our network for upcoming full-time opportunities across Rotherham.

We're registering support staff to work within specialist settings and mainstream primary schools, where children may require individualised support to engage with learning, manage emotions, and access a nurturing routine. These roles are ideal for those who thrive in structured environments and have a passion for helping pupils overcome daily challenges.

What you'll be doing

Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD or MLD Use tailored approaches to help children regulate, focus, and succeed Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to meet EHCP targets Provide structure, encouragement and consistency throughout the school day

You'll need

Previous experience in education, care, youth work or a similar support role Confidence managing behaviour and responding to emotional needs calmly Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one Commitment to full-time, Monday to Friday work during term time

The essentials

Pay: 13.69 - 14.61 per hour (depending on experience and setting)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Rotherham and nearby areas
