SEN Teaching Assistant
to join their team and provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, many of whom require personal care as part of their educational day.
About the Role:
Work closely with children aged 4-11 with Autism and associated learning difficulties.
Support pupils with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs, using structured routines and therapeutic approaches.
Provide personal care including toileting, feeding, and changing, with dignity and empathy.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement tailored education and care plans.
Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in classroom activities.
Ideal Candidate:

Graduates in Psychology
or a related field seeking experience in a specialist setting (ideal for those considering further study or careers in education, clinical psychology, or therapy).
Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants
who have worked with children with autism and/or provided personal care.
