Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students, particularly those with special needs. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and working closely with children, including those with autism and other disabilities.

Duties

Assist teachers in delivering educational programmes and activities tailored to the needs of students. Support children with autism and other disabilities in their daily learning and social interactions. Provide one-on-one assistance to students, ensuring they understand the material and can participate fully in classroom activities. Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles. Engage in toddler care when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being during school hours. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.

Skills

Experience working with people with autism or other disabilities is essential. Previous teaching or educational support experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents. Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when required. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed in their educational journey.

Pay: 20,496.00-28,252.00 per year
