Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a meaningful role in a primary school setting? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Worksop is seeking a dedicated individual to support pupils with special educational needs from September.

The Role:

This full-time position involves working closely with children who require additional support due to a range of needs including autism, speech and language delays, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You'll work one-to-one and in small groups, helping pupils to access learning and make progress in line with their personalised plans.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, individualised support for pupils with SEN Support the implementation of EHCPs and tailored interventions Promote an inclusive and positive classroom environment Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and parents/carers Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and emotional resilience

Essential Criteria:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school A patient, empathetic and nurturing approach Strong communication and teamworking skills A sound understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA or SEND-related training) are advantageous
