Summary

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join Tudor House Day Nursery in Accrington. This vital role involves nurturing young minds, supporting their developmental milestones, and creating a safe, engaging environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years in our vibrant nursery setting.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Provide care for 1-3 children with SEND related needs Support children's individual learning needs through personalized care and teaching strategies. Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being. Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain high standards of childcare. Support children with speech therapy activities and other developmental support as needed. Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience supporting speech therapy or special education needs is advantageous. Ability to create engaging, educational activities tailored to young children. Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education preferred. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Ability to work effectively as part of a team committed to high-quality childcare.
