About Us:


INSIGHT Wellbeing Services Ltd is a leading tuition service providing tailored educational support to children and young people, including those with special educational needs (SEN). Our therapeutic, trauma-informed, and creative approach is designed to improve emotional health, wellbeing, and academic outcomes for the children we support. We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our team on a consultancy basis to enhance the support provided to our students.

The Role:


As our SENCO, you will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of children with SEN are met effectively across our tuition service. Working closely with our tutors, families, and key stakeholders, you will provide expert advice, oversee SEN provisions, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Assess and review the needs of students with SEN and provide tailored recommendations to tutors. Develop and implement strategies to support students' educational progress. Advise and train tutors on best practices in working with students with SEN. Liaise with families, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports for EHCP reviews and other documentation as required. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance, including the SEND Code of Practice.

What We're Looking For:



Qualified teacher status (QTS) and/or relevant SENCO qualification. Proven experience working with children and young people with special educational needs. Excellent knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and statutory guidance. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. A commitment to improving the educational and emotional outcomes for children with SEN.
