The role




We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and knowledgeable individual to support children with Special Educational Needs and lead the work of our staff team.

The ideal candidate will:



Be a good teacher Be empathetic and able to liaise confidently and compassionately to support children and their families. Be aware of how to support children whose first language is not English. Lead the work of others while working well as part of a team. Liaise and collaborate effectively with outside agencies. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and confidence in completing paperwork and reports. Have completed the SENCO qualification or be willing to undertake the NPQ SENCO. Possess the ability to see the bigger picture, enabling effective contributions as part of the school leadership team. Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.

The role of SENCO is pivotal in our school, which is in an area of deprivation within Warrington. We are looking for the "right person" and so, although this is a 3 day role we can be flexible about 4 days.
