The children, staff and governors of Our Lady of Sorrows wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The role will be varied and exciting, with opportunities and challenges to support children of all abilities.

We are looking for someone who:

Will be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school Experience of working with children with complex needs Lead a team of TAs Able to plan provision to meet the needs of the pupils. Monitoring the progress of individual children. Will work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion Give support to pupils, individually, in groups and classes so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement Is well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is enthusiastic and works well as part of a team Is committed to children's welfare and safeguarding
