Our sessions are based at community venues across Surrey, with this role being primarily based across Guildford and Woking.
Hours:
Full time

*hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm with occasional weekends and evenings for specific events.
*If weekly work hours are exceeded due to the demands of the programme then Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be given.
Salary:
28, 875 per annum
Annual Leave:
33 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
Training:
Fully paid training is given and further development opportunities are available.
We are looking for people to support learners in a year leader capacity on our fantastic community based learning programme, Building Futures, around the local Guildford and Woking areas. Click here to learn more about the Building Futures Programme.
You will be responsible for:
Responsible for leading and guiding a year group of up to 10 young adults, with the support of a Building Futures Project Worker.
Working with the adults to set and achieve the targets, goals and aspirations they identify during their involvement in our programme.
Delivering the programme content out in the community, there will be a mix of indoor and outdoor delivery at multiple community locations.

Requirements
Experience of leading group sessions both in developing content and delivery
Natural and efficient organiser
Team player and self-starter with a can-do positive attitude
Good communicator who can proactively communicate with individuals within our network, the adults supported and their families and/ or support network.
Due to the physical nature of the programme and community working, a good level of fitness and stamina is required.
You will ideally be proactive and keen for continuous improvement in yourself and the adults you are supporting, contributing to the development of the programme and working closely with the team.
