1:1 SEND Support Worker
to join our nurturing nursery team.About the Role:
As a 1:1 SEND Support Worker, you will:
Provide tailored, individual support to a child with additional needs during their nursery day. Work closely with our experienced
SENCo
and collaborate withoutside agencies
to implement effective support strategies. Help create an inclusive, engaging environment where all children can thrive. Support with daily routines, learning activities, and care needs as required. Maintain accurate records and contribute to review meetings and progress tracking.? We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEND (particularly in a 1:1 setting). A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of EYFS and inclusive practice. Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or above preferred). Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: Up to 10,216.96 per year
Expected hours: 16 per week
Work Location: In person
