Salary: 140 - 232.37 per week (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)



Contract: Full-Time KS2 Teacher. Specialist Autism Provision

Source Supply are currently recruiting a

SEND Teacher

to work within a specialist primary provision catering for pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The pupils are supported through a highly individualised and sensory-based curriculum that meets their complex learning and communication needs.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate

KS2 Teacher

to join their dedicated team on a

full-time maternity cover

basis, starting after October half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the Class:



KS2 age range, following our

Engagement Curriculum

Pupils are predominantly

pre-verbal

, with

high sensory needs

The class is

very active

, requiring

high levels of personal care

and creative approaches to learning Learning is delivered through

sensory-rich experiences

that foster interaction, regulation, and engagement

We are looking for someone who:



Has experience working with children with

ASC

and

complex communication needs

Understands and can implement

Intensive Interaction

,

Attention Autism

, and use of

Makaton

and

core vocabulary

Is confident in managing a high level of

personal care

as part of a nurturing classroom environment Can work collaboratively with a skilled team of support staff, therapists, and families Brings

enthusiasm, patience

, and a

positive, flexible

attitude to every school day
