Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, supporting children's developmental needs, and fostering a positive learning environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with children of different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers, and to utilise specialised skills such as speech therapy, applied behaviour analysis, and early childhood education. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and a passion for mentoring young learners.

Duties



Deliver comprehensive lessons in core subjects such as Maths, Physical Education, and specialised areas like Speech Therapy and Special Education. Develop customised lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, including those requiring additional support through tutoring or behaviour management strategies. Support early childhood development by engaging children in age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers. Implement behaviour management techniques to promote positive conduct within the classroom. Provide mentoring and guidance to students to foster their academic and personal growth. Conduct assessments of student progress and prepare reports on their development. Assist with childcare responsibilities during school hours, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Incorporate applied behaviour analysis techniques where appropriate to support children with special educational needs. Proofread educational materials and resources to ensure accuracy and suitability for learners. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists such as speech therapists to optimise student outcomes.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Qualifications in early childhood education or a related field are preferred. Knowledge of special education practices and behaviour management strategies. Experience with speech therapy techniques, applied behaviour analysis, or tutoring is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles. Organised approach with excellent proofreading skills for educational content. Passion for mentoring young learners and supporting their developmental journey. Childcare experience is desirable; certification in child safeguarding is a plus. Pay: 32,420.00-37,635.65 per year
