We're currently working with a
welcoming and inclusive school in Welwyn Garden City
that is seeking a
SEND Teaching & Learning Assistant
to join their team. This is a
temp-to-perm opportunity
, ideal for someone who is committed, compassionate, and eager to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support across various year groups, including pupils with
SEND
.
Deliver
1:1 and small group interventions
, tailored to individual learning needs.
Work closely with teaching staff to create a
positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
.
Offer
personalised and empathetic support
, helping children develop both academically and emotionally.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children in a
UK educational setting
.
Confidence in supporting pupils with a
range of additional needs
, particularly SEND.
Full-time availability:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
.
A valid
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
(or willingness to apply).
The ability to
commute to or reside in Welwyn Garden City
.
