We are currently recruiting a calm, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in the Burgess Hill area. This full-time, ongoing role involves supporting children with a range of special educational needs within a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.



As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and engaged in their learning. You will work closely with teaching and support staff, providing consistent, individualised support and adapting your approach to meet each student's emotional, behavioural, and learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting children with SEND (including SEMH, ASD, or additional needs) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills Confidence supporting pupils within the classroom A proactive, resilient, and compassionate attitude
