SEND Teaching Assistant - SEMH Secondary School (Ealing)



A specialist SEMH school in Ealing is recruiting a confident SENDTA to support KS4 pupils with autism and co-occurring mental health needs. You'll work closely with therapists and behaviour leads to promote resilience and engagement.

The role



Provide 1:1 support for children with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Help pupils develop confidence, manage emotions, and access learning. Implement personalised strategies to support positive behaviour. Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to support pupil progress. Create a calm, safe, and nurturing environment for all children. Build trusting relationships with pupils, promoting their well-being and engagement. Monitor and record progress, sharing observations to inform next steps. Support the wider school community by contributing to a culture of respect and inclusion.
