SEND Teaching Assistant - Hounslow
We are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in
Hounslow
that prides itself on putting children at the centre of everything they do. With a creative curriculum and a dedicated team of staff, the school is looking for
SEND Teaching Assistants
to support pupils across
KS1 and KS2
.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated
1:1 and small-group support
to pupils with SEND, helping them access learning effectively.
Work closely with the class teacher to create an engaging, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
Observe pupil progress and share meaningful feedback with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
Assist with classroom setup, lesson preparation, and general support throughout the school day.
Offer constructive guidance to pupils, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Reflect on and develop your own practice to contribute positively to the wider team.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
Proven experience working with children (references required).
An Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service-or willingness to apply for one.
Ability to commute to or live locally within the Hounslow area.
A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
Pay Rate:
88-95 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.
