Working Hours: Full Time (35 hours) Term time only plus 1 week



Number of Positions: 1



Qualifications Required: SEND Teaching Assistant Level 3 Grade 4



Salary: 25,584 - 27,269 per annum



Start Date: 1st March 2026





We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant (TA3) with SEND experience to join our SEND team, to work term time plus one week. The role will include working in our SEND classrooms, with children whose primary need is communication and language.



We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting and nurturing young children in the primary sector. It is crucial that the candidate has an understanding of SEND provision.



We are looking for candidates with strength in communication and language development, excellent behaviour management skills and high expectations for children's achievement.

About the Candidate




Responsibilities of the role include:


Implementing personalised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of each pupil, under the guidance of the teacher. Encouraging positive behaviour and aiding the teacher in managing behaviour. Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to establish a positive and inclusive learning environment. Demonstrating an understanding of children with social, communication, and interaction needs. Working closely with the SENDCo to review progress and strategies Contribute to creating resources for SEND pupils Stepping in to lead the SEND classroom in the event of absence.

Crumpsall Lane is part of the North Manchester Primary Federation (NMPF) along with Crab Lane Primary School. Together, we provide the highest quality education for all our pupils.


At Crumpsall Lane, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting and nurturing young children in the primary sector. We are a vibrant, two-form entry community primary school located just three miles from Manchester city centre and close to Heaton Park. Serving a diverse community, we welcome over 400 pupils aged 3 to 11, who collectively speak more than 20 different languages. Our school also benefits from excellent transport links, including convenient access to the Metrolink.



The school offers a small pond, a woodland area and a thoughtfully designed sensory garden, all of which reflect our strong ties to the community.
