Role: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Salary: 14.62 per hour (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role

Source Supply are currently recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistantto work in a Mainstream Primary School supporting a child in KS1 on a 1:1 basis.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting learning, ensuring the child's needs are met in a nurturing and encouraging way, promoting an enthusiasm for learning.

This role requires an engaging, proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant with great communication skills & a want to make a difference.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting.

A patient and consistent approach.

Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.

Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
