SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Swanley
Salary: \xc2\xa380 - \xc2\xa385 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: FULL TIME Monday- Friday (8:30-15:30)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support and assistance to students with special educational needs.
• Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support for students\' academic and social development.
• Help with personal care and mobility, as required.
• Facilitate engagement in class activities and encourage participation.

Role Requirements:

• Meet GSL Education\'s stringent safer recruitment background checks, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.
• Hold an Enhanced Child DBS certificate or be ready to apply for one, prioritizing the well-being and safeguarding of our students.
• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
• Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships and a genuine passion for helping children with SEN reach their full potential.
