Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction Continuously evaluate food quality, presentation, and taste to uphold the restaurant's reputation

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and cooking Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu items that delight guests

Pay: 13.50-13.51 per hour
