Our clients trust us to bring together the best people, ideas, technical expertise and digital solutions to our work in transportation, buildings, water, the environment and new energy. We\'re one global team - 47,000 strong - driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.

This role welcomes applicants looking for part time and full time work.

We are looking for a Senior 4D planner to join the Nuclear team in Warrington, with recent and solid Bentley Synchro 4D Pro knowledge and experience, as well as sound knowledge and experience of model authoring tools, particularly Revit.

The AECOM Nuclear team provide multi-disciplinary consultancy to the nuclear industry in both the nuclear new build and decommissioning sectors. Role Responsibilities:
  • Work with the team to document and establish 4D processes, protocols and standards.
  • Maintain project documentation that outlines the 4D planning tasks, outputs, roles and responsibilities.
  • Work with design and delivery teams to create standards for work, resource and location breakdown structures.
  • Support the application of work, resource, and location breakdown structure to the existing models and programmes where required to support the 4D process.
  • Work with design and delivery teams to create data modelling specifications.
  • Support the application of metadata to the existing models and programmes in line with the data modelling specification.
  • Support the planning and design processes through contributing to 4D issue identification, maintaining, or contributing to issue registers or platforms.
  • Review the programme and models ahead of inclusion into the 4D process, checking them for errors, gaps, clashes, information consistency and adherence to the standards, and documenting issues where discovered.
  • Provide and maintain the \'Virtual Build\' (4D model) to simulate the programme alongside models within Synchro 4D Pro to give feedback on design or methodology changes.
  • Supporting feasibility studies and design option testing using 4D to improve engagement with and between the design and delivery teams and the supply chain.
  • Create animations/simulations at defined stages for communicating the overall job and build sequence.
  • Carry out programme health-check analysis and reporting e.g. sequence irregularities (build sequence), sequence physical constraints, cadence consistency (LOB), and space utilisation analysis.
  • Where major design changes could impact quantities; carry out or assist in materials demand analysis and reporting.
  • Support health and safety through issue identification, coordination, and phasing of works using the Virtual Build.
Qualifications
  • Degree educated in a construction/engineering related subject or equivalent experience.
