The opportunity:

This is an exciting development opportunity to work within our Zurich Resilience Solutions, Workforce Strategies Practice business as a Trainee Risk Consultant. What will you be doing?

This is an ideal role for an individual looking for a new and exciting challenge. You will enjoy a varied, challenging and rewarding diet of work, working with an experienced and high performing team developing your skills and knowledge to become a Risk Consultant. In doing so you will:

  • Support the delivery of a range of engagements to help our customers enhance their organisational resilience, including gap analysis and health checks, training and facilitation and bespoke consultancy
  • Production of high-quality professional reports providing best practice advice to customers
  • Collaborating with customers to identify, develop and deliver risk management support programmes
  • Develop business opportunities in relation to the growth of fee income
  • Promote risk management advice and best practice through speaking engagements and Zurich media channels
  • Complete research into technical areas and provide the latest information for colleagues, other stakeholders and clients
  • Development of effective, productive relationships with colleagues and customers
What are we looking for?
  • An interest in Organisational Resilience, Enterprise Risk Management and/or Business Continuity
  • Eagerness to learn and develop consultancy and technical skills
  • An enquiring mind being able to probe logically to establish key risk information
  • People centric being able to build strong and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confidence to engage at Senior Leadership Team levels
  • Creative mind-set with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone
  • A dedicated team player with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d approach to their work
  • A professional certification from bodies such as the IRM, BCI will be advantageous
  • Experience of working in/with Public Sector, Housing, Education, Charitable and Social Organisations
