We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Senior Account Director to oversee a portfolio of key client accounts and contribute to pre-sales and business development initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on fostering relationships, strategic planning, and applying digital expertise to deliver outstanding service and growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
Ensure client satisfaction by consistently delivering value and responding to feedback to improve service quality.
Act as a trusted partner to clients, understanding their unique needs and goals.
Strategic Vision & Implementation
Develop account plans that align with client and agency goals.
Work alongside internal teams to bring campaigns and projects to life.
Offer clients creative and strategic solutions informed by current market trends.
Pre-Sales & Business Growth
Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients.
Participate in client discovery sessions to tailor solutions to their needs.
Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and assist in onboarding new ones.
Present ideas and strategies in a clear and engaging manner.
Digital Expertise
Advise clients on digital marketing strategies, platforms, and tools to meet their objectives.
Ensure strategies are informed by data and up-to-date with emerging digital trends.
Collaboration with Project Teams
Partner with project managers to ensure the seamless delivery of client projects.
Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to maintain alignment and shared expectations.
Provide support in maintaining timelines and budgets while representing client interests.
Financial Management
Oversee account budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability.
Share financial insights and updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
Market Insight
Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to proactively meet client needs.
Offer strategic advice based on an understanding of competitive landscapes.
Skills & Competencies

Experience in business development, including proposal creation and client acquisition.
Expertise in digital marketing and data-informed decision-making.

Technical Skills:
CRM software proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Ability to analyse client and market data.
Familiarity with digital platforms like Optimizely.
Basic knowledge of AI tools for efficiency, such as ChatGPT.
Experience using project management tools like JIRA.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
Understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
Empathy for the challenges faced by digital marketeers is more important than specific account management experience.
Previous experience in a digital agency environment is preferred, as it will support a strong understanding of fast-paced, client-focused project delivery.
