Reporting to: Commercial Director

Swanky is a Shopify Platinum Partner delivering high-performance ecommerce solutions for some of the most ambitious brands in the UK and Europe. We're trusted by Shopify to lead its largest and most complex projects - from international launches to platform migrations and custom systems integrations.

Due to growing demand for our services, we're expanding our commercial team with a new hire: an experienced Account Executive or Senior Account Executive.

The role

This is a consultative sales role focused on qualifying and progressing inbound opportunities. You'll play a central part in shaping how prospective clients engage with Swanky - working closely with our Commercial Director, Management Team and Board to develop strong relationships, craft tailored solutions and convert enquiries into successful long-term engagements.

You'll be joining at an exciting time: we're seeing increased referral volume from our clients and technology partners, and growing numbers of direct enquiries across key markets. Your job will be to field those enquiries, lead discovery conversations, collaborate with internal teams to shape and price appropriate solutions, and guide clients through a considered and enjoyable buying process.

We're looking for someone who knows the Shopify ecosystem, understands the challenges large retailers face, and can translate that into smart, credible, solution-led conversations.

Responsibilities

Qualify and lead inbound sales opportunities, from first contact through to signed SOW

Run tailored discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business goals, technical context and project drivers

Collaborate with Swanky's delivery and strategy teams, along with key contacts at our technology partners, to shape compelling solutions and proposals

Own the development of pricing, documentation and supporting materials in line with our commercial framework

Work closely with the Commercial Director and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with wider business goals

Build relationships with partner organisations and key Shopify (and other SaaS partner) contacts to stay close to the market
Track and manage opportunities through our CRM, contributing to accurate forecasting and reporting

What we're looking for

Several years of relevant experience within the Shopify ecosystem - either in an agency, systems integrator or SaaS role

Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and partner landscape, with specialist knowledge in one or more of:

International commerce
+
B2B commerce
+

Systems integration (e.g. ERP, OMS, WMS)
+

Shopify POS and in-store retail
+

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand both technical and strategic requirements

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the credibility to operate at senior levels
A genuine interest in commerce, technology and the changing needs of retailers

Why Swanky?

Swanky is one of the most experienced Shopify Plus agencies in the world, and we're known for delivering high-impact ecommerce solutions for ambitious retailers. We work at the forefront of the ecosystem, building out best-in-class implementations and solving complex problems for clients across sectors and geographies.

This is a chance to join a fast-growing, independently-owned business with a strong reputation, a clear strategy, and a lot of exciting work ahead. You'll be part of a high-performing team that values commercial thinking, a strong people-first emphasis and a commitment to ensuring you do the best work of your career.
